GET follows a build & buy strategy. GET acquires portals in the fresh industries and relevant technology companies.
- Typical portals GET acquires were built by or for specific sectors in the fresh industries: sometimes with a national focus, others with a product focus.
- Some (small) technology companies are of strategic value to GET that they can be acquired.
Corporate
GET is the holding structure for its subsidiaries and acquired companies. It provides funding for its expansion and it delivers stakeholders value for its investors.

GET believes that transparency of the market and traceability of products and producers is a fundamental value that the eFreshPortal can and must deliver.
GET intends to contribute a social and economic value to producers in general, but a better, fair chance to producers in developing stages in particular.
Delivering value in the food chain, necessarily involves producers at the bottom of the pyramid and they should be able to participate and benefit as full and independent members in trade.
GET Foundation
Providing market access to farmers and producers in developing stages is a necessary first step towards better prices and independent trade. The GET Foundation offers various programs to finance and assist the memberships on the portal for these farmers.
